Making a hotel reservation
Receptionist: Thank you for calling Coconut Bay hotel. This is Kerri speaking how may I help you?
George: I would like to make a reservation please.
Receptionist: Kindly hold the line while I transfer you to the reservations department.
George: Thank you.
Reservations Department: Reservations department, how may I help you.
George : Hello, I would like to reserve a room for one person please.
Reservations: With pleasure Sir. What's your name please?
George: It's George Mullings.
Reservations Department: Thank you Mister Mullings. What dates would you like to stay at Coconut Bay?
George: I will be checking in on December 20 and checking out on December 29;
Reservations Department: Ok That will be 8 nights.
George: What's the rate please?
Reservations Department: 150 dollars per night. That would give us a total of 1,200 dollars. Should I go ahead and make the reservation?
George: Yes please.
Reservations Department: I will need your credit card details in order to hold the room for you. Note also that one night's payment will be deducted from your card in the event of a no show.
George: OK no problem. Here are my card details....
Reservations Department: Ok thank you for making it Coconut Bay and see you on the 20th.
George: Thank you
